We provide expert coaching in small group exercise classes at the fraction of the cost of personal training. Our small group classes are capped at 12 members per session. During classes our coaches review and demonstrate movements, advise members on how to scale and modify the workout and answer questions.
2. Focus on first-time CrossFitters
Why are we different than other CrossFit affiliates? We're focused on helping those interested in trying CrossFit training for the first time. We provide a fundamentals of CrossFit personal training course for those new to CrossFit. These one-on-one sessions are completed prior to starting group classes.
3. Fitness Community
We're an independently owned and operated small business and grass roots fitness community. We strive to establish a community environment where our members feel encouraged and supported as they achieve their fitness goals. We're a local CrossFit health and fitness affiliate. CrossFit Inc. is our strategic partner that allows us to represent their brand of fitness methodology, training, and lifestyle.
4. Expert Workout Programming
Your gym membership will include professionally programmed workouts that are tailored specifically to your fitness capability. We offer a variety of inclusive and scalable programs, developed by and continuously refined by the best in the industry. Our programs range in time domains, variance, and the complexity, but are all led by expert coaches and occur in a community setting that has proven effective in delivering unparalleled results.
Meet The Team
Owner and Coach
I am the owner of Graviton and I feel exceptionally fortunate to have the opportunity to lead our independent small business and grassroots fitness community. I am passionate about promoting the values of CrossFit, positively impacting individuals and families through community engagement, and providing exceptional service to our members.
I grew up in western New York and played soccer as a youth and collegiate athlete. One of my most rewarding experiences has been coaching youth soccer during my time in college. I currently hold several soccer coaching certifications including a U.S. Soccer National D.
I found CrossFit several years ago and love the challenge of competing against myself while being surrounded by a group of people who are experiencing their own challenge. I love the encouraging and supportive atmosphere of the CrossFit group class. There’s nothing else like it in sports. Over the last few years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching CrossFit and helping others achieve their fitness and health goals. I hold a CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids Trainer Certificate and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach Certificate.
Establishing healthy habits can be difficult to do alone. That’s why we opened Graviton CrossFit, we’re the anti-globo gym, and we’re stronger together. I am looking forward to helping our members achieve their health and fitness goals for years to come. Thank you for considering our fitness community.
Coach and Personal Trainer
I am passionate about leveraging my 10+ years of strength and conditioning coaching experience to help you create a personalized plan that meets your specific health and fitness goals. I love sharing my experience and knowledge about training, injury prevention, rehabilitation and sport. Over the years, I have learned that cookie cutter plans do not work for everyone and that is why we offer a one-on-one fundamentals jump start program. Beginning a new fitness routine can be scary. Every athlete has different strengths and weaknesses which require a custom approach to maximizing your athletic potential. Let’s chat about working together to help you achieve your best possible fitness level in the shortest amount of time and teach you how to sustain your fitness for years to come.

Owner and Coach
I am the “newest-to-CrossFit” member of the team and am excited to be a part of the Graviton community. I am long time soccer player and runner. For many years, I was hesitant to start CrossFit. I considered myself someone with “no arm strength” and my kicking and distance sports seemed a better fit. After witnessing how much my soccer-playing husband loved it (you may know him, a certain Vince Piraino?), I was finally convinced to give it a try and am so glad I started!
I love competing against myself and watching my reps or weights increase over the months. I love that badass feeling that kicks in after finally climbing the rope or mastering double unders (my current goal, as of Jan 2019, is to do a pull up- if you see me, challenge me to keep practicing!). And more over, I love how members of all sizes, shapes, and abilities can be in the same class at the same time and be enthusiastically rooting for each other.
When I’m not hanging out at Graviton, I work as an assistant professor at Tufts University where I study social development and health promotion for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders. I am hoping to integrate this passion and training with the Graviton community as we continue to build. Welcome and I hope to see you around the box!
