If you’ve ever dropped into the 5:45 a.m. class at Graviton, you’ve probably seen this crew putting in the work—laughing between sets, pushing each other to go harder, and proving that consistency is what real fitness is built on. Together, Taylor, Brian, and John represent what makes the Graviton community special: dedication, accountability, and fun.
Taylor: “Enjoyable”

For Taylor, Graviton has been part of life for nearly six years and he just hit a huge milestone: his 1,000th class.“My favorite part about being a Graviton member is the community that they have built at the gym and the way they’re able to keep the workouts fresh,” Taylor shared. With three kids at home, his workouts serve a clear purpose: “I work out so that I can keep up with my kids—they keep me busy and Graviton keeps me in shape.”
Taylor says it’s the energy of the people around him that keeps him pushing. “Everybody comes here and gives it their all, and that inspires me to leave it all at the gym.” The structure and variety of the programming also help him stay consistent. “They cycle through all of the workouts so that I don’t have to keep up with that, and it’s fun to come here every day.”
When reflecting on his journey, Taylor doesn’t hesitate: “A moment at Graviton that I’m really proud of is that I’m about to hit my 1,000th class. It took a long time to get there but I’m really proud to be able to reflect back on that much hard work.”
If he had to sum Graviton up in one word? “Enjoyable.”
Brian: “Dedicated”

Brian joined Graviton back in 2020 and has been a consistent 5:45 a.m. regular ever since. “My favorite thing about being a member at Graviton is that we’re all just getting to learn something new,” he said. “I really like seeing how I progress week to week and month to month, but also how everyone else does as well.”
It’s no small feat to show up before sunrise every day, but Brian says the community keeps him coming back. “Seeing the same people working out with you day after day, people like John and people like Taylor, really does push me—not just to show up every day but also to try my best because I don’t want John to beat me.”
Brian’s proudest moments often come when mastering new skills and pushing past personal bests. “Passing 300 pounds on a squat, getting a little bit better at bench press or deadlift - it makes me really happy.” Like Taylor, he’s also closing in on the 1,000-class milestone, a marker of dedication that defines his Graviton experience.
Asked to describe the gym in one word, Brian didn’t hesitate: “Dedicated. Everybody that comes here, no matter where they are in their fitness journey, always tries really hard and brings their best—and that’s what keeps me coming as well.”
John: “Convenient” (and Competitive)

John started at Graviton in August 2020, and his mornings look a lot like Brian’s—because they’re usually the same class. “My favorite thing about Graviton is the variety of people,” John said. “You have someone who has been here for 4 or 5 years that’s really great at every exercise (like Brian), and you have new folks.”
That mix of experience and encouragement keeps him motivated. “I always like someone better than me so I can strive to run faster or go faster. And Brian always beats me, so maybe today will be the day.” John admits that showing up early isn’t always easy, but accountability helps. “Some days you don’t want to come, but you think, ‘Okay, but Brian is coming so I should show up.’”
His proudest Graviton moment? “Being able to climb the rope. When I first started here there was no way I knew how to climb a rope. But with some coaching, it’s actually a lot easier to do than it looks.”
And while John could describe Graviton with words like dedication or consistency, his answer is more down to earth: “Convenient, because it’s right around the corner from my house.”
