Meet Erin McCrady — Former semi-pro quadball athlete, Spartan racer, and the ultimate believer in building a strong foundation.
Erin has been bringing her energy to the Graviton floor since September 2024. If you ask her how she ended up here, she’ll tell you it all started on a regular dog walk along the Minuteman Bikeway.
As she walked past the gym with her dog, she caught a glimpse through our open garage door. Her impression? “I saw the garage door open, and it seemed like people were having a lot of fun.” It didn’t take long for her to step through that door and join in on the action.
Building a Foundation for Adventure
As a former semi-professional quadball player, Erin is no stranger to high-intensity, multi-directional sports. Today, she is actively exploring and trying out new sports—and she uses her training at Graviton as a springboard to jump into any physical challenge with confidence.
For Erin, the variety and intentionality of the class programming are huge wins. It gives her the power, endurance, and agility she needs to thrive on the field, no matter what sport she’s tackling next.
Outsourcing the Mental Energy
One of the biggest perks Erin discovered after joining wasn’t just physical—it was mental. Like many busy professionals and athletes, Erin realized she had plenty of physical energy to sweat, but lacked the time and mental energy to design smart, intentional workouts for herself.
Having a gym where she can show up, trust that expert coaches have crafted a workout tailored to her longevity goals, and put in the work without overthinking it was the missing piece she didn’t know she needed.
“I got the physical energy to do a workout most days, but I don’t have the mental energy to put together really good programming for myself.”

Inspiring the Long Game: Mom’s Legacy & The Spartan Race
When asked who inspires her to keep putting in the work, Erin looks close to home: her mom. As a lifelong fitness enthusiast, Erin’s mother has been a constant model of staying active, healthy, and dedicated to winning the long game.
That inspiration was on full display when Erin hit a massive milestone with her gym crew: completing her very first Spartan Race. Having never tackled an obstacle course race like that before, Erin conquered the course alongside her fellow Graviton teammates—making for an unforgettable day of mud, sweat, and community.
Whether she’s prepping for her next athletic venture or taking on an obstacle course, Erin’s commitment to showing up and building a foundation for life inspires everyone around her. We’re thrilled to have her on the team!
