Meet Jenn — a dedicated Graviton member for the past three years who brings energy, humor, and grit to every workout.

Outside the gym, she’s a project manager in advertising, but in her free time, you’ll find her exploring hiking trails, golfing, running, or training for her next endurance event. This summer? She’s tackling the Presidential Range in the White Mountains and training for an Olympic triathlon.
“I like torturing myself and doing hard things,” Jenn laughs, a perfect summary of her unstoppable drive.
But Jenn’s journey didn’t start with triathlons or 4,000-footers. It began with a need for something more.
“I really enjoy group fitness classes. I would probably say embarrassingly that I’ve tried every group fitness boutique in the Boston area,” she admits. “But what they really lack is strength training — I felt like I was really plateauing a lot.”

After reading rave reviews about Graviton’s programming and community, Jenn gave it a shot and she hasn’t looked back.
“What drew me to it is it had the group fitness class, a focus on strength training, a focus on endurance, which is really important for all of the activities I do outside the gym, as well as having a really great community and coaches.”
From the start, Graviton gave Jenn more than just a great workout. It gave her the tools to perform better in every aspect of her active lifestyle.
“I train and workout at Graviton because it makes me feel really good physically and mentally,” she shares. “I sit in an office chair 4+ hours a day so I really need to make sure I have somewhere to express my energy… being able to workout daily has been a really big lifesaver for me.”

That dedication has paid off. Since joining Graviton, Jenn has PR’d her 5K and 10K, shaved five minutes off her sprint triathlon time, swam 1,000 meters without stopping, and confidently tackled major hikes on a whim.
“I’m really the proudest of what I’ve been able to accomplish outside of Graviton due to the workouts that I do here at the gym.”
It’s not just about physical results — it’s about belonging. For Jenn, the biggest benefit of being part of Graviton is the people. “It’s really great that I get strength training and a workout but I think the community and the culture that the coaches have really been able to encapsulate here at the gym is incredible,” she says. “They really look at everybody as an individual versus just a typical member.”

That care and attention have helped Jenn stay consistent, even when injuries arise. “Sometimes I think that [the coaches] want to get me into the gym sooner than I want to get back into the gym,” she jokes. “They really have everybody’s back.”
And when she’s not in class? She’s watching from afar. “I sometimes look at the attendees on weekend workouts just because I get FOMO — I want to hang out with everybody.”
We’re lucky to have Jenn as a member of our community. Her adventurous spirit, hard work, and positive energy are infectious — and we can’t wait to see what challenge she takes on next (we’re betting it’s another mountain… or maybe another triathlon).
